Naughty or Nice ( 12/14 - 12/24 )

Starting on the 14th, residents of the city might notice things becoming a little more festive. A large pine tree appears in the center of sector G-7, seemingly guarded by a small group of little gnomes that might look familiar to some longterm residents. These gnomes are impervious to injury or insult, but if asked they will explain what the tree is for: gifts! Make donations at the tree throughout the month, and perhaps your kindness will be rewarded. After talking to the gnomes, characters might also feel a strange compulsion not only to donate to the tree, but give gifts to their friends (or maybe even to their enemies!)

In addition, characters may find small fishbowls in their homes, each bowl containing one common fish (beta, goldfish, etc.) Next to the fishbowl is a container of fish food, and a waterdamaged note that reads: Please take care of my friends!

Happy Holidays ( 12/25 )

For some characters this is Christmas morning, and for some characters it's Thursday, but either way they will find that Santalette has visited them! Each character may receive one gift, from home or otherwise; there will be a post for approval of gifts later in the month. In addition, for characters who successfully kept their fish alive it will disappear, only to be replaced with a serving of the character's favorite meal. Happy holidays!
