★ First Impressions ☆ VISUAL: Castiel appears as a mid-thirties human man with dark brown hair and very blue eyes. He's usually quite disheveled in appearance; his hair and clothes are a bit messy and he has perpetual stubble. He's tall but not extremely so at about 5'11" (179cm or so), and though not small he's more slender than he usually appears as he wear multiple layers of clothing that are too big for him. He's very handsome, enough so that it's become something of a running joke in the series to include a mention of it in third-party descriptions of him. ☆ AURAL: His voice is very low and a bit gravelly, and he speaks softly. Usually his tone is monotonous unless he feels particularly strongly about a subject, and he usually only raises his voice when he has to to be heard; when he's angry or upset, his voice lowers instead. When absolutely furious, his voice almost echoes. ☆ OLFACTORY: Despite living in a post apocalyptic wasteland, Castiel is an angel, so he has no issue with the lack of water and soaps and such. There's nothing at all remarkable in any sense that would indicate either human or supernatural. ☆ DEMEANOUR: Castiel is very quiet and serious. He stares without blinking for long spans of time, and though he does have some concept of personal space now, he still invades it on occasion. His posture isn't great and he slouches a bit; he holds himself very stiffly and doesn't always know what to do with his arms and hands. He comes across initially as human, but any extended conversation or interaction reveals pretty quickly that he's not.

★ IC Permissions ☆ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: From people who are close to him it's alright, but otherwise he would react with either confusion or dismay, depending on situation. It's fine to try! ☆ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Castiel ends up in a fight every other day, though as an angel he's very difficult to injure. The angel itself is next to impossible to injure or kill unless you have a very powerful magical weapon or spell, but it can happen if so. The vessel is exactly like a human, though Castiel's healing will fix or sustain it until he runs out of strength, at which time he'd have to retreat or risk losing the vessel. Therefore at ADS, even if a character can't hurt the angel itself, doing enough damage to the vessel can lead to a win of the fight (and he feels what's done to the vessel, which isn't fun.) Violence is perfectly okay without asking unless it's something that might seriously harm or kill the angel itself; in which case it's still probably fine just plot it out with me first. ☆ RELATIONSHIPS: Platonic he definitely forms, though very slowly. Romantic not so much; though he might engage in kissing or the like there's usually no emotional connection as he's not quite able to process that sort of relationship yet. So while someone of that sort probably wouldn't develop, plotting with me about it would be fine! ☆ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: As an angel, just poking into his mind is extremely dangerous; a psychic in canon tries and her eyes are burned out due to mentally viewing his true form. That said, he can receive 'sent' information (like imparting pictures or words to him like telepathy) and he can send it to others without damage, just mentally trying to read anything but surface thoughts is a bad, bad idea. If this comes up message me for details~ ☆ MAGICAL INFORMATION: None; though supernatural in nature, this isn't considered magic in his world. ☆ MEDICAL INFORMATION: The vessel is deathly allergic to bees. The angel has issues with his grace, and may not always be able to heal the vessel quickly; in addition his grace can be damaged in a fight. ☆ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Nothing really other than violence; he thinks little of it and so it might come up relatively often.
