[The warding is changed first, upon receiving the text; it's a strange request and he's briefly concerned there's an emergency of some sort. But Crowley would have told him more were there, or Gabriel would have contacted him himself, so though he does quickly modify the warding it's without particular concern.

[Castiel is actually at the carnival, feeding cotton candy to Abaddon, when he gets the message. He gives the rest of the roll to the dog and disappears in a beat of his wings, appearing next to Dean in the funhouse.
He looks around, taking in the sight, wondering if Dean encountered a ghost or angered one of the demons; there are several around, now. But it's not like Dean to run and hide from them, which is certainly what this looks like.]

[Castiel isn't doing much of anything at home, drawing sigils on a pad of fancy and expensive drawing paper that Crowley had bought him 'so he would stay in the house and stop picking up whores'. He was in the middle of planning a modification to one of his locating spells when he hears the prayer, and sets his pad of paper and pencil down on the couch.
In a soft flutter of wings he appears, completely unbothered or even noticing that they're in a womens' restroom and he probably shouldn't be in it, tilting his head slightly at Mary.]
